Instant Pot Hamburger Helper
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 4 cups beef broth
- 16 oz elbow macaroni
- 3 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Directions:
- Shred cheese and set aside to allow it to come closer to room temperature.
- Add the ground beef to the Instant Pot and set to sauté and cook and crumble until beef is no longer pink (about 5-8 minutes).
- Add the onions and cook for another 3 minutes.
- Add minced garlic and cook for another 1 minute.
- Add Worcestershire sauce and tomato paste and cook for another 2 minutes.
- Pour a small amount of the beef broth in and scrape the bottom of the Instant Pot to release any cooked on pieces at the bottom.
- Then add the rest of the beef broth and add the macaroni. Stir the macaroni until it is largely submerged.
- Seal the lid and pressure cook on high for 5 minutes.
- After 5 minutes are up, quick release the valve. Stir in the cheese until melted and mixed in.
