To go with the chili on Superbowl Sunday, I made some cornbread. The recipe is so simple and the results are delicious.


1 cup flour
1cup cornmeal
4 Tablespoons sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
1/3 cup canola oil
1 lightly beaten egg

Mix all ingredients together and then pour into an 8 inch square or round greased pan.
Bake at 400 for 20 minutes. Eat..I like to enjoy with honey.
